Although Italian by heritage, this wine is best produced where the Mediterranean meets the Murray at Caudo Vineyards. Made in traditional Italian style with lingering tannins gently softened with months of oak seasoning, giving a dry full-bodied wine.

Caudo Vineyard is situated upon the banks of the Mighty Murray River in South Australia. Known as the greatest river in one of the driest countries of the world. Here sun, soil, and moisture combine for a perfect Shiraz growing environment. This Shiraz is matured in new and seasoned American Oak barrels. Vibrant and purple in colour this spicy medium bodied Shiraz has an aroma of fresh vanilla berry fruits. Perfectly harmonized by lively plum characters and a lingering oak finale.

To ensure our bright and spicy medium bodied Tempranillo is true to its Spanish heritage, before harvest we like to dance amongst the vines shaking maracas, eating tapas cuisine and wearing sombreros! The exotic fruity aromas will create a mini fiesta in your nostrils. A definitive and astringent mouth feel is apparent with firm tannins and fruit left lingering on the palate. Pair it with your favourite meal or Spanish tapas dish and let your sense move to the beat of life! Probably one of the wines we have enjoyed the most over the years.  It is a style of wine which is so perfectly suited to the extremely hot days we enjoy on the river and have so many of.  A bottle on ice during these hot days provides plenty of refreshment and fun.

Luscious berries’ create an aroma that seems to hold a texture similar to velvet.  The combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and shiraz have given this Rosé a ruby red colour.

Ripe berry fruit driven flavours finishing off with apple raspberry tannins.

This well blended easy drinking Shiraz pays homage to the stand of river gums know as “The Sentinels.”

Set on our scenic bend of the Murray River these red gums have stood tall for hundreds of years and were known as a landmark for paddle steamers to re-fuel. Battling many floods and droughts they stand triumphant.
