The Caudo Vineyard
You haven’t truly seen the Riverland until you pay a visit to Caudo Vineyard.
Proudly family owned and run, this vineyard and cellar door is located on the banks of the River Murray, an oasis of green lawn, towering gum trees, historic buildings and breathtaking limestone cliffs.
Caudo Vineyard is a quintessentially Riverland experience.
Current owners Joe and Christine Caudo purchased the property more than 30 years ago as River retreat for friends and family. At that time, the fertile soil was abundant with citrus, table grapes, stone fruit and even some cereals.
However, the Riverland lifestyle, close community and pristine natural environment inspired the Caudos to share their slice of riverside utopia with the rest of the world.
This decision prompted plantings of multiple varieties of vines and citrus trees to create the 450 acre vineyard on the property today. The team at Caudo now harvest 100 per cent of the vineyard’s grapes to create quality, family-produced wine.
The vineyard’s Riverland location mean the culmination of sun, soil and moisture produce ideal conditions to grow our vines and produce premium quality wines. Caudo Vineyard is an acknowledged supplier of wines to local and overseas markets.
