A not so long weekend recovery!

A not so long weekend recovery!

What a weekend!! One of our top weekends this year. A great crowd, plenty of new faces and fantastic feedback. We sold out of pizzas on Sunday and the staff were run off their feet. More tables and chairs are on their way and we are looking into shading the top area.

The Classic Adelaide Rally will be hosted in Adelaide (Victoria Park), the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula and travelling through stages and roads used by the original Classic Adelaide Rally held from 1997 to 2009.

The sound of former Formula 1 cars will be a highlight of the festival as they compete on a section of the former Grand Prix circuit inside Victoria Park. It will also showcase a range of historic touring and sports cars, as well as classic motor cycles and a display of classic cars from by-gone eras.

Weekend Weather Forecast

After a very hot first week we settle into some cooler weather as a strong cold front moves through bringing cool winds. There is a high possibility of thunderstorms for Saturday with a chance of rain in the afternoon and light winds. It will be the first rain for the month. Sunday will clear with more sunny conditions and a top of 32 degrees.

Advice to Boat Operators

As from the 6th of October, the Chowilla Creek will be closed to navigation for approximately ten weeks due to operational requirements. SA Water apologies for the inconvenience.
