The Caudo Vineyard property has history dating back to the 1880’s. It became known as the “Rose Farm” because of the many roses planted around the homestead.
We keep history alive by naming all of our vineyard blocks after roses. This Chardonnay has been picked from our “Peace” block.
Wine Making Techniques: Picked at medium ripeness. 30% barrel fermented in one-year-old French oak.
Appearance: Clean, pale, lemon
Aromas: Gorgeous tropical ripe fruits, peach and citrus peel
Body & Flavour: Full flavoured with forward tropical fruit characters, integrating beautifully with subtle toasty oak. Light to medium-bodied.
Finish: Lengthy citrus flavours leaving your mouth watering for more.
Food Pairing: Crispy Salmon, Family BBQ, Lemon Butter Scallops
