Ecstatic to be Back!
The team at Caudo Vineyard are ecstatic to be back in business. With more and more Covid-19 restrictions lifting, we have had the pleasure of welcoming patrons back into our Cellar Door, to enjoy our wine, food and the spectacular view of the Murray river, right on our doorstep.
With our facilities reopening, we have been busy behind the scenes, upsizing our menu with some exciting new choices. A delicious bruschetta is now available at our Cellar Door, with freshly sourced ingredients showcasing our local produce.
Moreover, now that we are into the cooler months what better time to enjoy a hot cup of Arrosto coffee and a scrumptious slice with our new coffee and cake deal. Our Cellar Door now offers locally made sweet bakes for an extra special treat. So far, we have presented some zesty lemon melting moment biscuits, gluten-free chocolate fudge brownies, Madeleines filled with lime curd and some decadent chocolate chip cookies. And of course, we haven’t forgotten about a treat for your fur babies. Our Cellar Door now has adorable, home-made dog biscuits available. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to the Moorook Animal Shelter, who are devoted to keeping homeless dogs happy and healthy, until they have found a loving home. All are on display on our Cellar Door countertop.
These new food options were popular during the July school holidays, which was a very exciting couple of weeks for us. It was so great seeing our customers enjoying our woodfired pizzas, which we had available throughout the entire two weeks. Our cheesy garlic bread was also a big hit, with multiple customers ordering seconds. A huge highlight during these two weeks was having live entertainment by the lovable Liam Halford. Listening to his extremely talented vocals and ukulele playing was the perfect way for our guests to chill out with their family and friends.
To finish off, we had one last addition to our menu, only this was on the drinks list! We have started making cocktail jugs of our ‘Old School’ Red and White Sangrias to our original recipe, and the response has been overwhelming!
Despite the uncertainty of Covid-19, we at Caudo Vineyard feel extremely blessed to be able to see so many smiling faces back at our venue. We hope everyone is keeping safe, healthy and are staying positive on this slow journey back to normalcy. <3
