Happy Easter1

Awesome April

April started with a bang with Easter on the very first weekend.
Mother nature certainly turned it on for us with spectacularly warm weather which saw the Cellar Door booked to capacity on both Saturday and Sunday. Acoustic duo, Nick & Tash entertained the crowd on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, we added a Spit Roast to our menu for a point of difference.
We had pork or lamb to choose from which was accompanied by coleslaw, corn and potatoes along with gravy and chimichurri.

This proved to be very popular along with our normal delicious offerings from our kitchen.

The school holidays began a week later and finished on Anzac Day. The holidays are always a very busy time for us with families getting out and about and enjoying the lovely weather. Anzac Day we stuck with tradition and opened at 12 noon out of respect for our diggers and the RSL clubs and their patrons.

On the 29th of April we had a visit from The River Murray Boat Owners Association.
This saw 46 boats, of all shapes and sizes, and over 90 members pull up on the banks and spend the day with us. They bought along their own entertainment – a two piece band “Tamarisque” – which provided the perfect sounds for a relaxing fun day for the group, which stayed on well in to the evening.

Again another very eventful month for Caudo Vineyard, with all of the above and our 2021 vintage coming to an end as well.

We look forward to seeing what May will bring – stay tuned!

Regretfully due to the damage we received to our grounds and buildings from the 2022 River Murray floods, our Cellar door is now PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

But don’t be dismayed….

You can still get your favourite Caudo products in our online store!
