Flying High- Ready, Set, Summer!

What an amazing weekend we just had with the guys from Mastercraft and Epic Marine. Got us flying!

Don’t worry if you missed out! This weekend we have the Wakeboard SA Round 2 stop, so come down and check out what the best in South Australia can do.

Saturday will be full of action on the water with music, great food and all the best of what SA riders have to offer. You can even ride in the comp! Just come down and ask the guys how. Everybody is extremely friendly and there is divisions for every level of rider.

On Sunday, Barefoot SA will be doing demos in front of the cellar door and later will be doing some competition runs. We have never seen this at the cellar door since it has opened -we are so excited!! It’s getting back to its old ways. You may not know but the cellar door through the late 60’s was a haven for people to come and be taught to ski and barefoot.

Also, there’s something extra special this weekend (which we are super pumped about) – the type boat that the competitors will be using. We have never ever even seen one of these beasts! They are massive and expensive so we are keen to check it out and see what they can do! Don’t quote us here but we believe it is the most expensive wake boat on the market and it would have to be the only aluminium wake boat.

Pretty wild looking boat!

Sangria on The Move

Jen and Zac are over in Perth this week trying to get the Sangria available for everybody in Western Australia. If you have any suggestions where they should head to, let us know via our facebook page.

Weekend Weather Forecast

December marks the official start to summer and the holiday season. What a weekend ahead to embrace- high thirties, plenty of sunshine and some competitive water sport action. This makes us very happy. However, the next few days leading up to the weekend will continue to be quite windy. We should anticipate some light showers after Monday which would be nice for the gardens.

The Murray Princess

Have you ever caught a glimpse of the majestic Murray Princess? Or been for a cruise? If not, let me tell you, she is truly a magnificent vessel. The Murray Princess is an authentic paddlewheeler built for the Murray River holding up to 120 passengers. Weighing 1,500 tonnes and 67m in length, she is the largest paddlewheeler to ever cruise the Murray River. In fact, she is actually the largest inland built paddlewheeler in the Southern Hemisphere!

Home docked at Mannum, the Murray Princess made a very special overnight visit to our Cellar Door on Tuesday. The Murray Princess will be visiting us again this Tuesday at 10.30am so feel free to pop in and have a look! It is amazing to see this historic beauty cruising past and we hope to have the pleasure more in future.
