The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.

Caudo Vineyard brought home a beautiful Jam Factory glass blown pear after the Brand SA Regional Awards in Mannum last month. The Statewide Super Tourism Award is for tourism operators and events involved in profiling and promoting the local community with the overall goal of enhancing tourism and visitors to the region. Zac, Jen, Jas and Honor were proud to receive the award on behalf of the entire Caudo Vineyard team. It truly is great to be recognised in our beautiful region. We thank the award sponsors, fantastic Caudo team and our top notch patrons and visitors to our vineyard for this achievement.

Other local winners were;

  • The Premium Food and Wine from our Clean Environment: Wine Award – Banrock Station
  • Small Business Award – 919 Wines
  • Festivals and Events – Chowilla Station’s 150th Celebrations
  • Community Group – Cadell Community and Tourist Association
  • Sport – Berri District Youth Club
  • Emerging Leader – Meg Gillespie

Last month, Zac won the 2015 Rabo Bank Emerging Leader Award for Australia and New Zealand. The award recognises exceptional up-and-coming leadership in the country’s food and agribusiness industries. Zac accepted the award from the Rabobank Group managing director, Thos Gieskes in front of 230 agribusiness professionals at the annual Rabobank Leadership Dinner at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne. Mr. Gieskes said through Zac’s leadership, in addition to positioning the Caudo brand in the marketplace, Caudo Vineyards has become a tourism destination for thousands of visitors.

And just to top such a great few months, two of our recently released wines received awards also.

Caudo Vineyard 2014 Rose:
