Blissfully Welcoming in the Year 2020

We ushered in the new year and welcomed 2020 the right way here at the Caudo Vineyard Cellar Door! New Year’s Day was a massive hit like every year for us! We had an awesome chilled out Sunday Sesh, where one of our favourite performers, Jay Hoad entertained us with his unique style of electric funky folk and rock music, His quirky shovel guitar and didgeridoo tunes rocked our socks off as we recovered and relaxed by the river, blissfully welcoming in the year 2020! Next, was Australia Day, and oh what a day it was! Every year Aussie day is one of the busiest days of the year, and this year was no different! We are very passionate about our Australia Day celebrations as it is a time we can truely let loose and be thankful for our very own backyard filled with picturesque views and amazing wildlife all at the doorstep of this breathtaking place we call home, alongside the River Murray!

To top the day off we had our favourite DJ, Luke Henry here spinning the decks live for us all day. He had people out of their seats and boogying the day away with a delicious icy cold sangrias in their hands! The crowd (and Cellar Door staff) were looking very festive with Australian flags tied around their necks, and all decked out in their Aussie pride!

Ah Valentine’s Day, love was in the air at Caudo Vineyard’s Cellar Door! It was our first initial Friday night being open for dinner, and we had quite a few lovebirds join us for a romantic evening by the river. Fairy lights were hung, roses placed on each table, and our staff flouncing around in gorgeous handmade flower crowns! It was also a very special time for us, because it was when we put out two new menu items; the dessert pizza and cheesy garlic bread! Both were hits! Our dessert pizzas have a tasty Nutella base, topped with marshmallows, strawberries, a dollop of vanilla ice cream, and a sprinkle of icing sugar & love heart sprinkles! Our next dinner at Caudo Vineyard is the 3rd of April.

Up next is Easter! We are excited for the big weekend we will have here at the Cellar Door. Our live entertainment for the weekend will be Acoustic Duo Nick and Tash from Adelaide. They will be playing at our Cellar Door on the 12th from noon. Also on the 12th, we are celebrating Easter with one of our magnum wine bottles filled with easter eggs and guests throughout the day can write down their guesses of how many eggs are in the bottle. Sunday at 4:00pm, we will announce the winner at the Cellar Door and the winners can claim their prize!

Friendly reminder, our Cellar Door is shut on Good Friday the 10th and Monday the 13th of April with walk-ins only on Saturday and Sunday – no bookings sorry!

School Holidays is also in our April calendar commencing the 9th of April to the 25th of April. Thoughout these dates, we will be serving our Wood Fired Oven Pizzas, as well as our normal menu, everyday that we are open.

We have even more entertainment lined up with Liam Halford on the 18th of April, a crowd favourite here at the Cellar Door, Liam is a one man band and well known for his rustic sound and skilled talent on the ukulele, covering old school classic, todays hit songs as well as some of his own originals.
